    A message from Morgan Jane Miller

    I’ve always loved linen. When we lived in New York, I came across some wonderful linen pieces for a client’s apartment in the Upper East Side and her home in St. Louis. We haunted ABC Carpet and the linen showrooms and design centers in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and LA looking for gorgeous pieces for this year-long project. When finished, the home in St. Louis was part of the "Street of Dreams” project that year.

    After that I took a training in England with a renowned printmaker who taught me to print on fabric. I have been hooked ever since.

    Fast forward many years and we find ourselves with a design store in Nova Scotia in the middle of a pandemic. Morgan Jane Home is a beautiful shop in downtown Wolfville and currently carries linen from Libeco in Belgium, woven blankets from Brahms Mount in Maine, and other linen lines from Asia. But it was the European Linen that I loved the most. We try very hard to find just the right products for our business but color and style and, in some cases, quality was problematic. We just kept coming back to… We need our own linen!

    Late last year we finally decided to go ahead and develop our own brand. It took us several months of research to find the mills and people we wanted to work with and a few more weeks of back and forth to decide on our color palette. And we are thrilled with the result. So thrilled that we decided that this line of linen needed its own platform to shine and not just another product in Morgan Jane Home. MJHLinen.com is the result.

    We have tried and tested all our products and we love them all!  We hope you love this line of linen as much as we do!
